Lake Victoria Field: was officially organized on the 7th December 2017 in the status of a field. LVF covers part of Homabay County i.e. Homabay Constituency, Ndhiwa Constituency, Suba North Constituency, Suba South Constituency and part of Nyatike Constituency in Migori County with the Membership of 62,681.
Lake Victoria Field started with a total of 45 Districts comprising of 476 Churches and 173 Companies (Sabbath Schools). The span of these four harvesting years, LVF has grown translating to total membership of 76,479 with increased number of districts to 82 currently comprising of 641 Churches and 150 Companies. Lake Victoria Field is under the leadership of three Executive Officers.
Pr. Samson Okwach – Executive Director, Pr. Wilson Wandago – Executive Secretary and Mr. Johnson Ochieng – Chief Finance Officer. Lake Victoria Field Headquarters is located in Homabay off Mbita road.
Our Mission: The mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Lake Victoria Field region is to call all people to become disciples of Jesus Christ, to proclaim the everlasting gospel embraced by the Three Angel’s Messages (Revelation 14:6-12), and to prepare the world for Christ’s soon coming.
Our Method: Guided by the Bible and the Holy Spirit, Seventh-day Adventists pursue this mission through Christ-like living, communication, discipling, teaching, healing and serving.
Our Vision: In harmony with Bible revelation, Seventh-day Adventists see as the climax of God’s plan the restoration of all His creation to full harmony with His perfect will and righteousness.
